Joyce "Joy" Lynn (Wilson) Marion, 66, of Anderson, passed away on September 10, 2025 , after a sudden illness. She was born December 5, 1958, in Elwood, Indiana, to Orville Robert "Bob" and Margaret Elizabeth (Kay) Wilson . A lifelong resident of the Alexandria and Anderson area, Joy graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High school and began her career working alongside her mother at the Alexandria License Branch. she continued her work with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles in both Alexandria and Anderson, serving in a variety of roles until her retirement in 2024. Joy is survived by her daughter, Jill (Sam) Mottweiler; step-son, Gary Marion Jr.; step-daughters, Shannon Street and Stefanie Street; sister, Betty Jo Jones; along with several grandchildren, nieces, cousins, lifelong friends, and her beloved fur babies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Marion Sr.; her parents; her sister, Jan Manning. Joy had a deep love for animals, perhaps even more that for people. In her honor, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League, 613 Dewey Street, Anderson, IN 46016, or to another animal charity of your choice. Per her wishes, cremation will take place and not services will be held. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory is entrusted with these arrangements.
