Joyce May Martin passed away at the age of 95, surrounded by her family, on January 30, 2026 in Scottsdale, AZ.
Joyce was born on September 25, 1930 to June Yost and Phillip Opperman in Rossville, IN. Joyce grew up in Indiana with her sister, Jayne. Joyce moved to Arizona in the late 1980’s to be near her daughter and grandchildren. Joyce loved her family with all of her heart, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed taking care of her family and others. She also loved baking, cooking, and making homemade ice cream. She could play a mean game of cards. She held various careers throughout her life, but she was most proud of keeping books for her fathers’ accounting firm; Opperman and Beauchamp.
Joyce is preceded in death by her sister; Jayne, parents June and Phillip Opperman, husbands; Robert D. Rossi and Donald Martin, and ex-husband; Jimmie “Dusty” Beauchamp.
Joyce is survived by her daughter; Lana (Jeff), two grandchildren; Jessica (Chris) and Alicia, and 3 great grandchildren; Marissa, Marin, and Mckenna.
There will not be services held, but a celebration of life for family.
