Joyce Linn McDaniels

Joyce Linn McDaniels, 78, passed away on February 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on January 24, 1947 to Ray McCaslin and Juanita (Peyton) McCaslin on the family farm outside of Amber, OK. She married Darrell McDaniels on April 22, 1978. They celebrated 46 beautiful years together.
After graduating from Amber High School in 1965, Joyce went to the Oklahoma Business and Banking School. She worked in the operations department of Citizen's Bank (1966-1983) and MidFirst Bank (1983-2012) until her retirement in 2012.
Joyce enjoyed crafting with her daughter, crocheting and sewing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren and any activity they were involved in. She was an avid Thunder basketball fan and loved watching every game.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Juanita McCaslin and her brother, William McCaslin Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell McDaniels; son, Larry McDaniels and wife, Jennifer; daughter, April McDaniels; and two grandchildren, Benjamin and Abigail.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 21 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
