The earth lost a special lady today. Joyce had a welcoming smile for everyone she met. I remember Joyce working on some challenging bus routes over the years; trying to get every student to the correct school building from occasional seemingly remote areas. She was truly a special person and an asset to the Western School District. May God be with her family during this difficult time and may God Bless Joyce.

I am sorry for your loss, she was a great friend to my sister and to my mom. So many times I remember her at the house or up north at the cottage over the 4th. She will me missed.

Our hearts go out to your entire family from our entire family. Joyce was a wonderful person and mother. What a great role model for everyone. Who wasn't comforted by Joyce's way of "Saving the Day" orchestrating kids in transportation while working with Western Schools. She found one of mine sleeping in a back seat when I felt sure he'd been stolen! and made sure others were delivered safely to their friends house or other than normal requests...even getting up late for morning pick-up was an easy transition with Joyce....how does Western transportation function without her??!! A true guardian angel, a guardian for all the little people in the Western District...Mr Too Tall is a giant blessing to us and was to her til she went home...both of you helped my grandkids feel special and succeed at fair..I didn't thank you both enough!! ...I'll miss your smile, Joyce!! Beloved by so many. We Bingley's were not 'blood' relatives but relatives by choice. Jo and all her family are part of us. My parents, Darol & Ivah, were indeed her grand folks and loved Jo belief. To Steve and all of the kid's,
She wore her love for all of you on her sleeve. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. She had an amazing ability to show empathy, was a wonderful conversationalist (easy to lose track of time when talking with her), a willingness to help others without question, and was always fun to be around. I can still hear her voice and the way she would be the first to greet us at every function.
