Joyce Ann (Upperman) Michel, age 84 of Louisville, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. She lived in Louisville all of her life and was a member of St Louis Catholic Church. During her time at St Joseph Senior Living facility, mom enjoyed spending time with friends and family and extended nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terence 'Terry' Michel; parents, Guy and Lulu Upperman; four sisters and five brothers.
Survived by her children, Lisa (Steve) George, Colette (Alan) Kager, Marcia Wright, Guy (Michelle) Michel, and Nicole Michel; grandchildren, Eric (Youn) Wright, Erin Wright, Mitch Wright, Steven Kager, Cole Kager, Jennifer Michel, Allison Michel, Emily Michel, Olivia Parrish, Ava Parrish; great grandchildren, Kyla Wright, Ambree Wright; and extended family of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian burial at St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00a.m. with Father Matt Humerickhouse as celebrant, where friends may call Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00a.m. prior to mass. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice. Condolences may be made to www.paqueletfalk.com
