Joyce Moody was born on February 1, 1949, to the late Joe Carl Neal and Marsie Ree Neal in El Dorado, AR.

She married Johnny Carroll Moody Sr for 50 years until his passing. Three children were born into this union. She was a longtime faithful and dedicated member of Victory Bible Church, where she served as an assistant pastor. She loved studying the Bible, word search books, fishing, and sharing the gift of salvation - Winning Souls for God's Kingdom. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife, and grandmother. Before retiring, she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Hillsboro Nursing Home and was an employee at Congra Poultry Processing Company.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Joe Carl and Marsie Ree Neal, husband, Joe Carl (JC)Moody (grandson), Elizabeth Ann (stillborn sister)

Left to Cherish her memories are her Sons, Johnny Moody Jr.; and Joey Moody (Margie); one daughter, Shonda Moody Thurston; Grandchildren: Sharhonda Moody, Jonathon Moody, Jay Reginald (JR) Moody, Jarrod Moody, Joey Moody Jr., Jaswana (Bruce) Benjamin, Janeisha (Dezirel) Harris, Joshua Moody, Jacinta Moody, Cory White, Jasmine Thurston, Jarvis (Ladailon) Thurston, Captain Jermaine Thurston, Joshua (Destiny) Thurston, 23 great-grandchildren special cousin Ida Faye Tidwell, special sister-in-law, Ola Tidwell,  A special friend, Carolyn Davis, and host of other relatives and friends.
