Joyce G. Patton, 89, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 21st. Joyce was a native of Dodge County and a member of Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. Friends are invited to greet the family during visitation at Clark Funeral Home on Monday evening February 23, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24 at 2:00 pm at Hawkinsville First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Gary Abbott and Rev. Tim Friar officiating. Burial will be at Ryals Cemetery, 2427 Ga. 165, Chauncey Ga. 31011
Joyce was a retired textile supervisor. She loved her family, gardening, going to the mountains and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Alice Dennis Grenade; her husband, C. P. Patton; daughter, Janice Patton; brother, Dennis Grenade; and son in law, Frankie Grinstead.
Survivors include her two daughters, Debbie Grinstead and Cathy McDaniel (Eddie); sisters Doris Grenade and Joan Vaughn; grandchildren, Christopher Grinstead (Beth), Tiffany Jolly (Matt), Jonathan McDaniel (Myranda); great grandchildren, Landon Grinstead (Erin), Collin, Logan, Carson Grinstead, Charlee Kate Jolly, Josie Lynn Jolly; Great-great grandson, Parker Cash Grinstead; several nieces and nephews and care giver Merlin Reddick.
