Joyce was born in Saginaw, MI on January 22, 1937, daughter of the late David and Nina (Armstrong) Riley. Joyce married the love of her life, Lawrence Quinn, on December 15, 1955. Together, they shared a beautiful marriage built on faith and love until Lawrence preceded her in death on October 17, 1990. A woman of deep faith, Joyce was a dedicated member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church since 1963. Her devotion extended beyond the pews, as she generously gave her time volunteering for both the church and Holy Rosary Catholic School. Joyce found great joy and peace at her beloved cabin on Secord Lake in Gladwin, MI. It was there, surrounded by nature and laughter, that she created countless treasured memories with her family and friends. Whether it was quiet mornings by the water or evenings filled with stories and smiles, Joyce's cabin was a haven of love and togetherness. Above all, Joyce treasured the simple, profound joy of spending time with those she loved. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family will remain in our hearts forever.
Joyce is survived by 4 children, Jill (Robert) Ayre, Jack (Barbara) Quinn, Jan (Michael) Jones and Jeffrey (Patricia) Quinn; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Mark, Allison, Trisha, Christopher, Jessica, Jared and Lisa; 16 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Nina Riley; husband, Lawrence Quinn; 2 brothers, Donald Riley and Bernard Riley and her longtime best friend, Lucille Martel.
