CROTEAU, Judith A. – of Davison, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at McLaren Lapeer Region. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew C. Czajkowski officiating. Interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Davison, Michigan. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Judith "Judy" was born in Flint, Michigan on April 22, 1944, daughter of the late Stanley and Victoria (Wizynajtys) Bury. She married David Croteau in 1963 at St. Leo's, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2022. Judy had a great love for animals, nature and spending time outdoors. She loved fishing all year around, camping trips, bike riding and taking long car rides with Dave listening to their favorite classic rock music. She was an amazing homemaker, cook and was proud of her Polish heritage. She had the gift of gab with strangers out in public and loved to tell people about her family background, travels up north as a child and stories about her extended family growing up. As of late, her daughter Christina took her on random day trips re-visiting some of her favorite places she spent with family in years past. It was a beautiful time of making lasting memories together.
Judy is survived by her loving daughter, Christina (William) Moon. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband as noted above and her brother, Ronald Bury.
