Ben Raymond Quinn, 90, of Conway Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, after a life well lived. Born on July 18, 1935, to Ben and Ruby Quinn, Ben grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1953.
He attended Hendrix College and later, Southern Methodist University, where he earned a BA degree in Business in 1958. During his time there, Ben met Jackie Birdwell. They married in 1959 and returned to Pine Bluff where Ben and Jackie joined the family construction business.
Ben had a passion for building and design. He built dozens of beautiful, custom homes and loved his customers. He could describe in detail every home he ever built or remodeled and every problem overcome to please the homeowner.
Ben was a faithful witness for Jesus Christ, inviting friends and strangers alike to his church, First Presbyterian of Pine Bluff, and later Westminster Presbyterian of Hot Springs.
He served on the Pine Bluff Housing Authority for 28 years and the schoolboard of Jefferson Preparatory School.
Survivors include his daughter, Kim Nunley (Richard) of Sabinal, TX; son, Ben Raymond Quinn, Jr. of Morrilton, AR; granddaughters, Sarah Nunley Biedenharn (Tucker) and Caroline Nunley, both of San Antonio, TX; Grace Quinn of Little Rock, AR and 2 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025 to honor Ben's life at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison, AR with Reverend Russell Wilkins officiating by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.
Memorials are requested to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3819 Central Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71913 or First Presbyterian Church, 717 W. 32nd, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
