Donald "Pete" Fitts

Donald Ray "Pete" Fitts, 82, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025.
He was born on February 27, 1943, in Marvell, Arkansas, a son of the late Lonnie S. and Beuna (Pyron) Fitts.
Pete grew up and received his education in Brinkley, Arkansas.
He spent the bulk of his working years as the manager of Young's Fish & Seafood in North Little Rock and as the owner/operator of Leon's Catfish & Shrimp in Pine Bluff.
Pete is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Daren) Joyner of Pine Bluff; daughter-in-law Laura Fitts of Conway, daughter-in-law, Alice Fitts of Little Rock. He is also survived by two brothers, Barron Fitts and Robert Earl Fitts; seven grandchildren, Peyton (Tracey) Reinhart of Russellville, Kyle Joyner of Manila, Jake (Kat) Fitts of Conway, Shelby (Jace) Neuhofel of Conway, Garrett Fitts of Conway, Austin (Aubrey) Fitts of Monticello, and Audrey (John David) Treat of Harrison; six great-grandchildren; and many other loving family & friends.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha Ann "Marti" Fitts; sons, Joe Fitts and Pat Fitts; brothers, Buddy Fitts and Wayne Fitts; and sisters, Margaret Hill and Juanita Freeman.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the caregivers with Always Home Caregiving in Pine Bluff, specifically April Jackson and Jonell Anderson, as well as the team at Arkansas Hospice in Pine Bluff.

Memorial Services will be Monday, October 20, 2025, 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, 807 S. Cherry Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71601, with Brother Robert Leonard officiating.
The family will receive guests prior to services starting at 12:00 p.m. noon.
