Joyce A. Reba, 84, Frackville passed away peacefully Friday morning, at her home, with her family by her side.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Lefchick Seasock. She had been employed as an executive secretary for Dupont and later for Zapata industries.
She was a faithful member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, where she was an active volunteer at the church making halupkies, pierogies and baked goods. She was a great home cook and baker, she loved camping and fishing with her family and traveling with her husband in their RV. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and very caring person to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Seasock; and sister, Jacquelyn Lockett.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Reba Jr.; her son, Joseph and his wife, Marie Reba, Red Lion, Pa.; her grandchildren, Joey, Natalie and Rachel Reba; and several nieces and nephews.
Divine Liturgy for Joyce will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Petro Zvarych, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of liturgy.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Joyce's name, be made to the memorial fund of St. Michael's Church.
