In Loving Memory of Joyce Evelyn Reusch who passed away June 18, 2023. Joyce was born on April 4, 1939, to Theo Frances Robbins and Amy Faye Robbins (Doyle), in Cedaredge Colorado. She grew up in Eckert and Cedaredge where she graduated from Cedaredge High School in 1957. She married Ernst Buol Reusch (Hans) August 1, of 1957, and shared 46 years together.
She made a loving home raising their three daughters, living in various places throughout Colorado and returning in 1980 to settle down on the Western Slope in her beautiful hometown of Cedaredge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Reigh Stoddard (Robbins), brother Robert Robbins, niece Jennifer Ashby, and nephew Trevor Robbins.
She leaves behind a brother Tom Robbins, her three daughters, Kellee Rodarte, Lori Reusch, Julie Holt with son-in-law Bill, two nieces, Jill Hatten, and Cristin Stevens along with 5 beautiful granddaughters: Whitney Hutto (Hardy), Rylee Frost (Jeremy) McKenzie Carey (Mark), Kelsey Crawford (Legofi), Cydnee Rodarte (Austin), and 9 great grandchildren. Colten, Corbin, Kashton, Daylan, Kyler, Braelynn, Novi, Legofi Jr. and Luka.
Joyce loved her entire family wholeheartedly. Always there with patience, understanding, worldly advice, and quick wit.
There will be no formal services, per Joyce's request.
When her immediate family chooses to gather, her request would be to keep it casual, filled with memories, and little mourning. In her words, "I prefer to be remembered in life as happy, full of love for all, and bossy!"
