Mrs. Joyce Kearney Richardson was born and raised in Gould, AR. She is survived by her three sons: Sean Richardson (Amanda), Erin Richardson, and Brian Richardson; three grandchildren fourteen brothers and sisters, and a few hundred cousins, nieces, and nephews. Joyce's husband, John Henry Richardson; parents, TJ & Ethel Kearney; Grandparents; four siblings; many aunts, uncles, and cousins predeceased her.

The remaining family of Joyce Kearney Richardson joins to celebrate her life; praising her greatness as an obedient child of God, a loving daughter, wife, parent, and grandmother. We stand at attention and speak clearly as we say her name, remember her many good deeds, and capture her smile that imitated her mother's.

Joyce shall always be held in our hearts for several notable reasons: First, she was a somewhat sensitive person whose intelligence stood out above those around her; she graduated from high school at the age of 16. Second, she found ways to help others, even when she cried inside for her own needs. Third, she tried with as much strength as she could muster, to do what God and her parents required of her. Fourth, as a wife and parent, she gave her all in raising and directing her children. Joyce and her husband, John Richardson, were supportive parents to their 3 children, guiding them through to adulthood.

Following her undergraduate work completion at USC, Joyce attained her master's degree in Management from Cal State University, Dominquez. Following this elevation of her academic achievements she went into higher management where she remained until retirement – approximately 40 years with the City of Los Angeles.

All of Joyce's family, friends, and church associates were touched in some ways by her during some parts of her life.

Arrangements will be announced by Brown Funeral Home Pine Bluff, AR.
