Joyce Rievley Obituary

Born on August 13, 1931, Joyce spent her life making others feel special. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making all of her family feel like they were her "favorite". With a warm smile and open arms, she was always ready with a hug, a kind word, or a laugh to brighten someone's day.
Joyce served for many years as a dedicated school secretary where her kindness, patience and cheerful spirit touched the lives of countless students, teachers, and families. Her ability to make everyone feel seen and loved earned her the affectionate nickname, "Nanny", not only from her own family, but from everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Mitchell; parents, Henry and Evelyn Davis; siblings, Ralph, Marcella, Jim, Jack, and Cliff.
Joyce is survived by her children, Glenn Rievley (Sybil), Keith Rievley (Terry), Susan Bush (Gary) and Gregg Rievley (Mary); twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a chapel service following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Josh Hollis officiating.
Joyce will be laid to rest in Bartlebaugh Cemetery.
