Joyce Ann Roberson

Joyce Roberson, 84, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Joyce was born August 11, 1941, in North Carolina to the late Houston Alexander Lefler and the late Lula Idabell Lefler.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Reginald Wayne Roberson, brother, Robert Eugene Lefler, sister, Lillian Lisk, sister, Ramelle Burleson, sister, Betty Drye.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joyce enjoyed traveling. She and Reggie enjoyed their travels to France, England, California, Nevada, the beaches of North and South Carolina, and the mountains.

Survivors include daughter, Teresa (Richard) Lowder of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Pamela (Mark) Howell of Albemarle, NC., son, Steve (Roberta) Roberson of Murrieta, California; grandchildren, Adrian (Amber) Marbry of Norwood, NC, Chase (Melissa) Howell of Valdese, NC., Wesley Roberson of Menifee, California, and Zach (Christina) Roberson of Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Grayson Marbry of Norwood, NC., Cooper Marbry of Norwood, NC., Cecilia Roberson of Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joyce’s family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Trinity Place and the caregivers and hospice nurses who assisted her.
