Joyce Roth Obituary
Joyce was born February 22, 1948, in Albemarle, NC., a daughter of Crawford Algie and Virginia Harwood Story. In addition to her parents, Joyce was pre-deceased by her first husband of 47 years: Ronald Chestla Hathcock of Wilmington, NC., sister: Jane Reeves of Harrisburg, NC., and brother: Al Story of Albemarle, NC.
Joyce loved shag dancing, going to the beach, being with friends, reading, and spending time with family, especially her grand kids. Joyce was a member of the Ocean Drive Shag Club.
Joyce is survived by her second husband: Norman Roth of Little River; daughter: Rhonda Hathcock Jones (Darren Jones) of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren: Ross Studebaker, Alan Studebaker, Madeline Jones, and Lilly Jones all of Wilmington, NC.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 16 North 16th Street, Wilmington, NC. 28401. A reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 16 N 16th Street, Wilmington, NC. 28401.
