Surviving is her husband of 50 years William E. Socie, daughter Melissa Mouhssin (Hicham) and grandson Zach Mouhssin of Newport, and brother Jay Lytle of Altoona.
She was predeceased by her parents, siblings Patti Lytle and Raymond Lytle, and her beloved dog Mocha.
At Joy's request, there will be no services. David M. Myers Funeral Home will be providing cremation services. If you would like to make a donation in her honor, please do so to the Perry County Animal Rescue/379 Sugar Run Road/
