George Socie Obituary
Even at his young age, George was a humanitarian. He loved helping others and was always there when his Grover Cleveland classmates and family needed him. He loved sports especially fishing with his dad and golf, which he said, "if kids were smart, they would golf because there is a lot of money to make!". He could not wait until he could own a motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathleen Clark; great grandparents, Reverend Arnold and Loretha Johnson Sr.; and aunt, Jamie Sheehan.
He will be forever missed and loved by his parents and siblings; grandparents, Linda Vactor (husband George "Max"), Arnold Johnson II and George Socie Jr.; aunts, April Laukaitis (Michael), Deserai Wright (Brandon), Shana Socie, Savannah Anderson and Amiricole Pope; uncles, Arnold Johnson III, Johnny Sheehan (April), David Johnson, and Timothy Vactor; many great aunts, uncles and cousins; and all of his friends in Mrs. Munch's third grade class at Grover Cleveland Elementary.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
