Joyce Ann Stacy, 65, of Kendallville, Indiana died Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.
She was born October 20, 1958, in Ary, Kentucky to Lowell Dean and Juanita (Godsey) Stacy.
Joyce graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 1977.
She had worked at Starcraft in Topeka in the boat and camper division.
She enjoyed flowers, music, and playing darts. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Jamie (Brittney) Messer of Edgerton, Ohio and Justin Messer of Wolcottville; eight grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jasmine, Timothy, Gunner, Jaimie, Megan, Austin, and Ariel; her mother, Juanita Stacy of Wolcottville; five aunts, Shirley (Frank) Sturdivant of Rome City, Lois Fuller of Greenfield, Darlene Eversol of Kentucky, LaVerna Hayes of Ohio, and Regina of Kentucky; seven uncles, Luther (Claire) Godsey of Kendallville, Calvin (Deb) Godsey of Rome City, Kenneth Godsey of Greenfield, Charles Godsey of Greenfield, Ronald (Nettie) Godsey of Fisty, Kentucky, Marcus (Faye) Godsey of Rome City, and Otis (Genie) Godsey of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Dean Stacy; a brother, Lowell Dean Stacy, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Doc and Pairle Stacy; maternal grandparents, Jonah and Ruth Curtis of Godsey; and five uncles, Alvin Godsey, Gerald Godsey, Leon Godsey, George Godsey, and I.B. Godsey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
Funeral services will be at Hindman Funeral Services in Hindman, Kentucky.
Burial will be in Adam Terry Cemetery in Hindman, Kentucky.
