Joyce P. Vaughan, age 91, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at Franklin Manor. She was born on October 22, 1933, in Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Payne) Phillips. Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She was known for her outgoing spirit and her impeccable style, always dressed from head to toe with not a hair out of place. A faithful member of Cowan Fellowship Church for more than 20 years, Joyce's strength in her faith guided her throughout life. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, and loved playing bridge with her large circle of friends. Her warm personality and love of fellowship made her beloved by all who knew her. Joyce dedicated over 35 years of service to AEDC, where she worked in the Pass and Security Office before retiring. Her professionalism and commitment left a lasting impression. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Vaughan. She is survived by her children, Vicki Vaughan and Tommy Vaughan; grandchildren, William Vaughan, Jack Vaughan, and Jared (Crystal) Henley; and great-grandchildren, Heidi Henley and Wyatt Henley. In accordance with her wishes, Joyce will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.
