Joyce passed into the arms of Jesus 0n 7-25-2025 from a long battle with cancer.
Joyce was born in Oskaloosa Iowa to Frank and Esther Woodward. She began singing with her brothers at an early age, singing in church. She continued to sing and perform with her husband, Joyce was a piano player and her husband played the guitar and they sang beautiful harmony together.

She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene College to become a school teacher teaching in the Benton Harbor area schools until retiring after 31 years, then continued to teach intervention until she had a total of 51 years teaching.

Joyce leaves behind two brothers Harlan Woodward of St Joseph MO, Calvin Woodward of Oskaloosa, IA, A brother who passed previous Merlin Woodward of Oskaloosa IA, Her husband Terry White whom she married in 1998 and were together for 27 years, Step Daughter Melissa Yeske, Step Son Michael White, numerous aunts and cousins and her close friends Nancy Ring and Kathy Baginske in addition she loved her church friends and her closest friend from High School, Marcia Street and so many more unable to list them all. There is much more one could write here and so much more than the dash between the birth date and death date but she would have a book if it could be written. She touched many lives and had many friends who loved her dearly and she loved them as much.
