JOYCE WHITTAKER Obituary
A daughter of the late Clifton and Mary (Zehel) Whittaker, Joyce was born February 7, 1961, in Lorain, Ohio.
Joyce will be remembered as a person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was known for her stubborn personality but was also for her generous spirit and who were always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition, she was known for being comical and making others laugh.
Besides her parents Joyce is preceded by her brother Clifton Whittaker.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Jerry Nash; her grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Alexis, April and Christopher Nash; two sisters, Linda Hambly and Cindy (Dana) Szymanowski and two brothers, Brad Whittaker and Terry (Joy) Whittaker. She also will be missed by plenty of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation will be taken care of by Carlson Funeral Home in Brunswick and the family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, quick wit and she could light up any room.
