Joyce Clary Woodward

Mrs. Joyce Clary Woodward, 80, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2024, in Blairsville, GA. Joyce was born June 15, 1943, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Ronald Ward Clary and Hazel Collins Clary. 

 Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Hazel Clary; and son, Ron Woodward.

 She is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Woodward; daughter, Susan (John) Sutton; granddaughter, Alysa Anderson; great-grandchild, Brooks Anderson; brother, Ronnie Clary; several nieces; and many cousins. Other family and friends also survive.

Joyce enjoyed hiking, traveling, playing cards, and spending time in God's creation. She held in high value her time spent with family and friends.

Joyce had a servant's heart. She delivered Meals on Wheels for 30 years and volunteered 12 years of her time at Hope House.

 Memorial Service, on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville with Rev. Ricky Powell and John Sutton officiating. Music provided by Kurtis Underwood and Ed Lawrie.
