Joyceline was a beautiful, kind, and loving soul whose passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.

She grew up on a farm in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan, Canada, where her gentle nature and strong work ethic began to take root. Joyceline attended Rivier Academy in Prince Albert before earning her degree in Education from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.

After graduation, she immigrated to the United States, where she later became a proud citizen. She built a career at Dow Chemical Company, where she worked faithfully for more than 20 years.

In February 2022, Joyceline was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma. With characteristic courage, she endured many rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, fighting bravely until the very end.

Joyceline was full of life and joy. She loved to travel, read, sing, and dance. She delighted in spending time with her family and friends, and many of her happiest hours were spent watching her girls play softball. She was a hard worker who loved her job, yet she always made time for the people and moments that mattered most. Her family treasures countless fond memories of vacations together, where her gentle demeanor and loving spirit made every trip truly special.

She now joins her beloved grandparents, Louis and Anne Marie Bandet, John and Florence Nachtegaele, and her niece Alyssa Nachtegaele in eternal rest.

Joyceline's memory will be cherished and carried on by her children, Jordan(Kassandra), Brooklyn, Savannah and step daughter Courtney; her granddaughter, Valerie (Nico); her loving parents, Robert and Eveline; and her siblings, Joel Nachtegaele (Romi), Diane Martinez (Marcos), and Lee Nachtegaele (Sandra). She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 100 Oak Dr. S, Lake Jackson, TX 77566. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Pallbearers will be Joel Nachtegaele, Lee Nachtegaele, Marcos Martinez, Austin Nachtegaele, and Michael Martinez

Following the Mass, all are invited to a reception in the Family Life Center at St. Michael's Church, where family and friends will gather to share food, fellowship, and stories celebrating Joyceline's remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Jackson area Saint Vincent de Paul. https://smlj.org/st-vincent-de-paul

To Eveline, Robert and family and to Jordan, Brooklyn and Savanah, please accept our condolences.
We remember Joyceline as a young girl, enjoying a special time with her at the water slides in North Battleford. On the slides she showed confidence, fearlessness and independence, not wanting to wait for auntie and uncle to keep up to her. The most daring slides did not stop her. Then, and more recently during our visit to Texas, Joyceline displayed those same qualities, combined with the sort of friendliness and hospitality of someone who truly cares about people and their feelings, while having a good time being together with those whom she loved. Joyceline's strength and courage continues to inspire us and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.
