Mr. Juan Carlos Miranda Lopez, age 59, a resident of Morton passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 9am-12:30pm Saturday at the funeral home. Chapel service will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 24, 2024 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens.

Juan Carlos was born in Trujillo, Peru October 27, 1964. Juan has been married for 38 years to his wife, Esther Miranda. His hobbies were playing racket ball and tennis. He enjoyed listening to rock music of the 80’s and loved to travel.
Juan is survived by his wife, Esther Miranda, his children, Pierre (Taneaka), Jenifer (Miguel) and Juan Miranda, Jr. Step children, Yesenia (Luis) and Diana Huancas.
He is predeceased by his father, Luis Cuadros, Jr.; step dad, Miguel Suarez; grandfather, Luis Cuadros, Sr., and grandmother, Elvia Cuadros.
Juan leaves behind 10 wonderful grandchildren. He was the oldest of 9 siblings. Juan worked for 19 years in the soft bottle industry (Coca Cola & Inca Kola) in Peru. He then for 22 years at Koch Food in Morton, MS. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
