Penny Sibley Bridges
April 7, 1958 – September 9, 2025
Penny Bridges, age 67, of Morton, Mississippi, passed away on September 9, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Penny’s heart was as big as the world she made brighter with her presence.
Born on April 7, 1958, Penny was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Sibley and Robert “Bob” Sibley. She was preceded in death by her cherished son Kenneth Marshall Bridges and her brother Kenny Wayne Sibley.
Penny is survived by her loving children, Alana Clark and Nolan Riley Bridges. She was a proud grandmother to Christopher Riley Bridges, Kiley Ann Doughty, Addison Marie Bridges, Layne Clark, and Leyton Clark, and a joyful great-great-grandmother to Maisie Kate Doughty. Penny was also eagerly awaiting the birth of a new grandson, who she already loved deeply.
To know Penny was to be known and loved in return. She had the biggest heart—one that gave without hesitation. Whether it was a warm smile, a comforting word, or literally the shirt off her back, Penny lived her life with remarkable selflessness and compassion. She saw the good in everyone and met life with unwavering love and fierce loyalty.
Her legacy is one of kindness, strength, and unconditional love—a legacy that will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
