Juan Antonio Escamilla II, de 30 años, de Scottsbluff, Nebraska, falleció el viernes 26 de septiembre de 2025 en el Centro Médico Regional West en Scottsbluff. Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre a las 10 a.m., el martes 30 de septiembre de 2025, en Reverence Funeral Parlor en Scottsbluff con el pastor José Martínez oficiando. Juan nació el 11 de junio de 1995 en Scottsbluff, hijo de Juan Antonion Escamilla I y Cinthia Cota. Asistió a ESU13 Meridian School y se graduó en 2016.
Le gustaba jugar a Nintendo, escuchar música e ir de compras. A Juan le gustaba especialmente pasar tiempo al aire libre, especialmente cuando podía admirar el lago e ir a pescar. Era amable y amigable, siempre listo con una sonrisa para todos los que conocía. Tenía el espíritu de un guerrero y nunca se rindió, a pesar de enfrentar desafíos físicos y problemas de salud durante toda su vida.
Los sobrevivientes incluyen a sus padres, Juan Antonio Escamilla I y Cinthia Cota; once tías y tíos; junto con muchos primos y miembros de la familia extendida.

Juan Antonio Escamilla II, age 30, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff with Pastor Jose Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at the funeral parlor. The service will be livestreamed and recorded to Juan’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.
Juan was born on June 11, 1995, in Scottsbluff to Juan Antonion Escamilla I and Cinthia Cota. He attended ESU13 Meridian School and graduated in 2016.
He enjoyed playing Nintendo, listening to music, and going shopping. Juan particularly liked spending time outdoors, especially when he could admire the lake and go fishing. He was kind and friendly, always ready with a smile for everyone he met. He had the spirit of a warrior and never surrendered, despite facing physical challenges and health issues his entire life.
Survivors include his parents, Juan Antonio Escamilla I and Cinthia Cota; eleven aunts and uncles; along with many cousins and extended family members.
Juan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rosendo and Zenaida Escamilla.
