On the 2nd of July 2023 Juan Jose's soul suddenly left his earthly body to be present with the Lord.
Juan Jose Hernandez was the product of the love between Juan Manuel Hernandez and Loly De Leon. He was born on February 15, 2007 in Barranquilla, Colombia. After enjoying his childhood in Colombia, he eventually made his way to Miami, Florida where he continued to be provided with support and guidance. While attending Miami Sunset Senior High, he made many friends and eventually became a proud member of the JROTC's Raiders.
Juan was both noble and charismatic. He emanated a sense of quiet confidence and love that seemed evident from the moment you met him. His bright smile and entertaining responses made you feel included, understood, and joyful. At the young age of 16 years old he has left us too soon, but during his time here he was fiercely loved by many. Although we mourn his loss, he left us a great life-lesson to always move through life with a beautiful smiling and loving heart despite the circumstances.
While the world has lost a great soul, Juan has now been reunited with his father, Juan; grandmother, Chela; and Grandfather, Jose De Leon. He leaves behind his mother, Loly; Grandmother, Luciana Carrascal; aunts, Rosaura, Marta, Ines, Cielo, Esperanza, Diana, Dona, Ingrid, and Kelly; Uncles, German, Hernando, Ricardo, William, Aldo, and Jose Fernando; many cousins and extended family members.
