Our incredible father and grandfather, Juan Jose Hernandez, was called home unexpectedly too soon on December 21, 2021.
He was born on August 6, 1967 in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico son of Jose Luis and Eliza Rivas Hernandez. Juan came to the United States with his older brother Rafael when he was 17 years old.
Juan worked for K-9 Kennel Store for many years. He was a very hard worker and excellent provider for his family. He was always outgoing, friendly and happy. He enjoyed being with his family and going to the movies or his favorite restaurant with his sons, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed soccer, his favorite team was Club America.
Juan is survived by his sons Juan Jamie (Tasha) and Fernando Luis, 3 grandchildren Jayvian, Oakley, Enzo, best friend Priscilla Nelson, sister-in-law Angelica Flores, mother Eliza Hernandez, siblings Anita, Rafael, Silvia, Isaias, Carmela, Marisela, Guillermo "Memo" and Cruz. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Luis, 2 brothers Luis and Chema, and nephew Ralph Hernandez.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 31, 2021, 10:00 am, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden, UT, with a viewing Thursday, December 30, 2021, 6:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT.
