Juan Francisco Huereca Sr.

Juan Francisco Huereca, Sr. passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was born on April 7, 1955, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.
When Juan was 12 years old, he moved to California with his father, Fructuoso, and his mother Rosalinda Huereca. He grew up in a large family with many brothers and sisters to have fun and get into trouble with.
He lived a life full of spirit and enjoyed many things; drinking coffee, fishing, smoking cigarettes, cruising in his low riders, and checking out the scenery. He loved antique cars, especially his 1967 Monte Carlo Low Rider. When he still lived in California, he liked driving it out to the boat dock and watching the ships enter. He used to say from miles away you could smell what they were carrying, oranges, coffee beans, shrimp, crabs. He loved spoiling his grandchildren, ensuring they got all the candy and extra sweets they wanted. He will be missed by them all and others who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fructuoso Huereca and granddaughter, Taylor Marie Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Huereca, children; Monica Lupita Huereca (Pancho), Juan Francisco Huereca, Jr., Michael Angel Huereca, grandchildren; Michael Smith and his wife Morgan, India Smith (Elijah Pestrano) Robert Shayde Smith, Halana Robins and her husband Devon, Adayla Huereca, Gracie Huereca (Cody Edwards), Nevaeh Huereca, Stavin Huereca, Ryker Huereca, great-grandchildren; Bella Chapman, Easton Huereca, siblings; Beatrice Huereca, Irma Bernal, Norma Pedroza, Tilla Huerra, Jessi Huereca, Toni Huereca, Lenor Huereca, Chilo Gaono, Ezequiel Huereca, Susano Huereca, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm, on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 331 Pinewood Road Clinton, Arkansas 72031.
