Juan Carlos Nava, a proud resident of Arlington, Texas, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 44. Born in Dallas on September 2, 1980, Juan lived a life defined by dedication, passion, and love for his family and community.
Juan was a hardworking and devoted man who gave over 17years of service to The City ofArlington. He was a jack of all trades who demonstrated excellence in each task that he was assigned. He was one of only a handful of employees who had the opportunity to work in each division of Arlington Water Utilities. No matter the job or the assignment, he always delivered excellence. His work ethic and dedication to his craft was unmatched, and his commitment to his role reflected the pride he took in serving the city he called home. Cars were more than a hobby for Juan-they were a lifelong passion. He had a particular love for classic models, especially the Galant VR-4 Mitsubishi, which he cherished. Whether he was traveling to find his next classic car or firing up the grill to make his signature fajitas, Juan found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
He was happiest surrounded by his loved ones, sharing laughter, stories, and good food. His warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him.
Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Rosa Nava; his children, Trinity Nava, Ethan Nava, Dylan Nava, and Tiffany Nava; his parents, Albino Nava Zuniga andMaria Luisa Rodelo; his brother, Eduardo Berumen; and his sisters, Susana Berumen, Sandra Berumen, and Elvira Berumen.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
