Juan Manuel Ortiz, 71, entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2025 in El Paso, TX. Juan is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Ortiz. Parents, Jose Manuel Ortiz and Petra Gomez. Brother, Ramon Antonio Ortiz. Juan is survived by his loving daughters, Sylvia Yarid Ortiz, Sylvia Echiveste Mendez and Corina Echiveste. Brothers, Jose De Jesus Ortiz and Jose Carlos Ortiz. Sisters, Martha Rocha, Maria De La Luz Morales and Rosalinda Mora. Juan also leaves behind his life partner, Lidia Monroy who will honor and cherish his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.
