A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dellcrest Funeral Home 2023 W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX 78222. Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 535 New Laredo Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78211. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery 20567 TX-16 Von Ormy, TX 78073.
Juan was born on December 5, 1952, in Big Wells, TX to Fidel Palacios and Elda Cardenas Palacios. He was a proud resident of San Antonio, TX. After graduating high school, he went on to serve in the National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Later he joined his father Fidel to run the family business, Palacios Salvage. After his father retired, Juan became the owner and worked hard to expand the business. He was full of personality and loved watching college and professional football. Juan was very generous and compassionate to everyone he met. He loved listening to his favorite music from Mexican artists to American oldies, blasting the music around the house for him and his family to enjoy.
Juan is survived by his father, Fidel Palacios; siblings, Rosita, Fidel, Luis, Maria Elena, Teodora; many nieces, nephew and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Kidney Fund, American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes.
