Juan Ariel Peña born May 2, 1986, in the Dominican Republic migrated to Silver Spring, MD in 1999 along with his family. Ariel graduated from Paint Branch High School in 2004, where he played in the Varsity Baseball Team. Ariel obtained his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Sanford-Brown College in 2010. His dreams of being in law enforcement became a reality in 2009 when he joined Prince George's County Department of Corrections. He leaves behind his son Juan Ariel Jr., mother Maria (Mayra) Pena, father Juan Jose Pena, Luiza Danciu (girlfriend),Laura (sister) brothers Xavier, Juan, Miguel Pena, many other family members and close friends. He will be remembered for his contagious laughter, smile, and love for his family and friends.
