Juan Antonio Reyes, son of the late Marcelino Reyes and the late Luisa Rosario, peacefully departed this life on May 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family.
Juan entered the workforce at a young age and, as a result, was unable to complete his formal education. At the age of 15, he left home and worked several jobs, at Swift, Perdue, King Cole, and a garden nursery. His last work experience was at Mark IV Transportation, located in Bridgeville, Delaware, where he was employed for 45 years. He truly loved his job and his co-workers.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and a wonderful uncle. He also enjoyed hunting, which he did with his good friend, Lindwood, whom he loved like a son, not to mention his furry friend, Champi.
Juan is survived by three daughters, Shirley Norman, of Seaford, DE, James Pitts (Alice) of Seaford, DE and, James Callis (Alkay) of Millsboro, DE; his companion of 25 years, Maria Andino; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
