Juan Cruz Sanchez gained his angel wings on July 7, 2025. He was born on January 11, 1968, to Orlando and Viola S. Sanchez. Juan was blessed with four children, and his love for family was evident in every aspect of his life.
He had a passion for travel, enjoyed dining out, and found joy in riding horses and dancing. An amazing carpenter, Juan took pride in his work and cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to him. His legacy will live on through his two daughters, Brittany Sanchez and Angelique Sanchez, as well as his son, Juan Cruz Sanchez (Zebadiyah Medina), and his five grandchildren.
Juan is also survived by his sisters, Louise (Felix) Medina, Amelia (Leroy) Sanchez, Renee (Joey) Sanchez, and brothers Robert "Bobby" Sanchez and Orlando Anthony (Bernadine) Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Brenda Sanchez, his sister Gloria Maestas, and his niece Amy Medina.
Services for Juan will be held on Saturday, July 19, with a rosary at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Chama, Colorado, followed by a celebration of life at 10 AM, also at the church.
