It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Semidey, affectionately known as Marco, on October 4, 2025. Born on May 2, 1935, in San Germán, Puerto Rico, Juan lived a fulfilling life, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering faith. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, whose sense of humor brightened every room. Juan was a dedicated member of his church and his community in Camden, New Jersey, where he enjoyed taking long walks through North Camden. His love for his family was evident in all he did; his family is what mattered the most to him.

Juan was a respected butcher by trade, but his true vocation lay in his service to his Pentecostal Church, where he was a faithful member of the congregation. He brought joy to all those who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt. The verse from the book of Psalms, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1), resonates with the life Juan lived, always trusting in the guidance and provision of his heavenly Father.

He leaves behind his sisters, Lydia Semidey, Edith Semidey, and Ines Semidey; his children, Elisabeth Semidey and Eliud Pinero Sr; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pinero, Eliud Pinero Jr, and Salvatone Pinero and many great grandchildren. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas Semidey and Maria Rivera, and his brothers, Juan Semidey, Gilberto Semidey, Angel Semidey, Primitivo Semidey, and Alejandro Semidey.

Join us in celebrating Juan's life on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00amEDT at the Circle of Life Funeral Home located at 812-14 Kaighn Ave, Camden, New Jersey, 08103.
