Juana Gonzalez Cruz, 91, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. Born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Juana carried with her the warmth, resilience, and traditions of her homeland throughout her life.

A devoted mother, she raised her children with love and strength: Jose M., Marcelino, Obidio, Teresa, and Marielena Garcia Gonzalez. Her legacy continued through her nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each of whom she cherished deeply.

Juana found joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life. She had a passion for cooking, always ensuring that her family was nourished not only with food but with love. Her meals brought everyone together, creating lasting memories around the table. In Cuba, she found solace in farming, tending to the land with care and dedication, a reflection of the nurturing spirit that defined her.

Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
