Juana Ruiz, age 74, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 18, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, surrounded by love.
She was born on March 30, 1951, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, to Ignacio Ruiz and Bernarda Jasso.
Juana will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a deep devotion to her family and faith, and she carried with her the warmth, strength, and generosity that touched everyone who knew her. Whether through her cooking, her laughter, or her unwavering support, she created a home filled with love and comfort.
She is survived by her daughter, Mónica, and her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio Ruiz and Bernarda Jasso, as well as her brothers.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
