Jacob Daniel Ruiz, born on April 25, 2005, in Indianapolis, Indiana, left this world far too soon on August 23, 2025, in Johnson County, Indiana. A graduate of Whiteland High School, class of 2023, Jacob was known for his outgoing personality and his infectious smile that could light up any room.
Jacob was proudly employed through AppleTree Staffing as a factory worker, where he was appreciated for his cheerful nature and hard work. He had a passion for life that extended beyond his career; he delighted in motorcycle riding, engaging in exciting video games, and spending serene moments fishing.
In the warm circle of his family and friends, Jacob will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving parents, Victor and Diana Ruiz, and his devoted girlfriend, Kyree Johnson. Jacob was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his daughter, Jaleigha Daniella Ruiz, due in February 2026, which filled him with joy and hope for the future. His family also includes his maternal grandmother, Judith Butler, and paternal grandmother, Maria Del Rosario Mora. He shared a special bond with his siblings, including Cassi Butler, Zulay Ruiz, and Wendy Rodriguez. Additionally, Jacob leaves behind an abundance of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who cherished him deeply.
Jacob’s funeral services will take place on August 28, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Indianapolis, Indiana. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM.
As we reflect on the life of Jacob Daniel Ruiz, we remember a young man whose light touched so many. His spirit and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
