My favorite quote from Juanita had to do with the family vacations on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Some years our family would vacation the same week as the Alvarez's. This particular time we were comparing restaurants and we will always remember how she said "their crème brulee was to die for". Since that time when we see it on any menu we think of Juanita.
