Juanita Sue Compton

Juanita Sue Compton, age 90 of Hi Hat, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born December 6, 1935 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Rainey Williams and Grace Younce Williams (Steve) Meade. She was the wife of the late Omery Compton. She was a retired LPN. She was a member of Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church since 1964 and a deaconess since 1970. She is survived by her Son: Joseph (Regina) Compton of Harold, Kentucky; Daughters: Rhoda (the late Butch) Paige & Charlotte (Eddie) Shelton both of Hi Hat, Kentucky; Daughter-in-law: Beulah Compton; Brother: Lowell Williams of Michigan; A Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her Son: Gary Compton; Brother & Sisters: Donald Williams, Treva Prater, Joetta Meade & Toni Hunt; 6 Stepbrothers & Stepsisters; One Grandson. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Monday, February 2, 2026 at 6pm Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church, Hi Hat, Kentucky and will continue all day Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with services each night at 6:30pm

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12 noon at the church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating

Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, Hi Hat, Kentucky
