Mackenzie D. Compton

Mackenzie Danielle Compton of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 27. Mackenzie was born on May 22, 1998, in Dallas, Texas to Johnnie Lynn Compton and Jeffrey Paul Cole. Mackenzie graduated from Wapanucka High School and worked in the Day Care industry, caring and loving little children. She enjoyed being silly, cosmetology, loved all kids, and dreamed of having a big family.

Mackenzie is preceded in death by grandparents Robin and Johnny Compton and great grandparents Stanley and Lena Hawk and Ralph and Annie Bell Compton.

Her amazing family left behind are her mother Johnnie Compton; sister Brianna Compton; brother Michael Compton; grandmother Mary Cuiksa; cousins Megan Corcoran, Becky Corcoran, Austin Rodgers, Anthony Corcoran, and Shelly Hatten and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Mackenzie's life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday February 15, 2026, at Brown's Durant Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor David Boggs will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownfuneralservice.com.
