Juanita Cordova Obituary
Juanita was born in Clovis, NM to Marcelino and Maria Garcia on April 13, 1939. She married Robert T. Cordova on May 7, 1955, in Clovis, New Mexico.
She was a homemaker. She always had her music going ready to dance with you. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. You could find her at the table with either her lotteries, puzzles, or enjoying family company. She enjoyed watching The Prize is Right, Sanford and Sons, or her novelas. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Cordova; parents, Marcelino and Maria Garica; brothers, Pat Steve Garcia (infant), Joe Mike Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Robert Garcia; sisters, Gloria Garcia (infant), Marcella Lopez.
Juanita is survived by her 12 kids, Rose (Michael) Martinez, Jimmy (Bonnie) Cordova, Toby (Gloria) Cordova, Ernie (Dina) Cordova, Vivian (Jesse) Cabrera, Tracy Cordova, Jerry Cordova, Michael (Frances) Cordova of Clovis, New Mexico. Linda Martinez, Richard Cordova, Sammy (Lorena) Cordova of Amarillo, Texas. Gerelyn (Anselmo) Martin of Pico Rivera, California; brothers, Ernest Garcia, Gilbert (Sharon) Garcia, Leo (Peggy) Garcia, of Clovis, New Mexico; sisters, Isabell (Blaine) Smith, Carolyn Camposagrado of Clovis, New Mexico, Darlene Garcia and Judy Samora of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, Molly Urioste of Portales, New Mexico; 39 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cordova, Janie Cordova, Dominick Cabrera, Holly Cordova, Ramon Gallegos, Kathrine Cordova, EJ Cordova, Nikki Cordova.
Rosary will be at 4 pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico.
Funeral will be held at 2 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Scared Hearth Catholic Church with Father Michael. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven.
The family would like to thank the staff at Interim Hospice, her cardiologist Dr. Ansari and her neurologist Dr. Pierson in Lubbock, Texas.
