Juanita Sue Hall Rainey, a beloved matriarch and vibrant spirit, left this world on September 29, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on October 3, 1955, in the quaint town of Bastrop, Louisiana, Juanita's journey was marked by a deep love for her family, a joyful spark that touched all who knew her, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her.

Throughout her life, Juanita wore many hats; she was a giver, a truth teller, and a jokester whose humor breathed joy into everyday moments. Her ability to consider others before herself was a testament to her character. Friends and family alike remember her warmth and the way she could light up a room with her laughter, creating an atmosphere where love and acceptance thrived.

Juanita's interests were as rich and diverse as her spirit. A true culinary enthusiast, she relished every opportunity to collect recipes, never shying away from trying new  restaurants and foods. A frequent visitor to local casinos, she was not just playing games but sharing laughs and moments of camaraderie with those she loved. Her passion for food, fun, and friendship shaped a life that resonated profoundly with those fortunate enough to have called her their own.

Her most cherished role was that of a grandmother, a title she wore with pride. Juanita’s grandchildren were the pride of her life, her proudest accomplishments reflecting the love she poured into nurturing generations. Each moment spent with them was a treasure, a chance for Juanita to share her wisdom, wit, and infectious joy.

A viewing to honor her remarkable life will take place on October 10, 2025, from 2 PM to 7 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following this, a funeral service will be held on October 11, 2025, at 1 PM, at the same location.
