Juanita was a member of Ellisburg Baptist Church. She had a servant's heart. As a young wife, she cared for her husband, Danny, after a devasting forest fire injury. Juanita was greatly loved by her children and her family. She loved to sing, travel, and loved living on their farm. She was a collector of many things, if you visited her house and didn't spot at least 12 roosters before reaching the living room, you clearly came through the wrong door.
Juanita is survived by her son, Danny Lee Helm of Liberty; sister-in-law, Mildred Louise Helm Cutter, and her family; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Juanita was loved and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her spouse, Danny Helm; son, Darren Helm; and daughter, Dana Richards.
Visitation is 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Friday at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Russell Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Morgan, Jessie Richards, Barry Joe Cutter, A.C. Richards, and Johnny Scott. Honorary pallbearer is Mike Sears.
Memorial contributions can be made to The Gideons International for Bibles.
