Juanita Hernandez, of Buda, Texas passed away on May 3, 2022, in the loving arms of her family. Juanita was born in Red Oak, Texas to Fortunato Segura and Josefina Segura Sanchez on December 27, 1926.
Juanita was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to many. She lived 95 long beautiful years enjoying the company of her family and friends. She was loved by all and touched many in her time on Earth.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Hope Martinez, Maria Gonzales, Josie Ugalde-Rios and son- in law Daniel Rios, Victoria Nanez, and son Luis Ugalde and daughter in law Betty Ugalde. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Julian Martinez, Michael Martinez, Jessica Mitchell, Tammy Farris, Aimee Martinez, Joseph Villegas, David Nanez, Rodney Nanez, Roxanne Farris, Regina Pistone, Demetrius Ugalde, Luis Ugalde Jr, Paul Vallejo, Sam Vallejo, Candice Crawford, Belen Luna, Lisa Ramirez, Victoria Salazar, Marc Lopez, Angel Tijerina, Robbie Ugalde, Ronnie Ugalde, Sarah Galloway, Aaron Ugalde, Justin Vassar, Chelsea Ugalde, Bernando Ugalde, Sylvia Lopez, Jimmie Lopez, Francis Lopez, Alexandria Valderas, Jon-Phillip Ortiz Martinez, Daniel Rios, Jr. and Grace Baharona.
She is also survived by four generations of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carlos Hernandez, her first husband Catarino Ugalde, her daughter Gloria Ugalde, her son in law Henry Nanez and Julian Martinez, her granddaughter Linda Losolla and her sons Catarino Ugalde Jr., Fortunato Ugalde, Felix 'Aaron' Ugalde and Gilbert Ugalde.
Funeral service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle Texas on May 12, 2022, at 11 AM with Bishop Lester Surgers officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, in Austin Texas. Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on May 11, 2022, from 5pm-7pm. Harrell Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of a memorial donation, flowers can be sent via the Harrell Funeral Home website. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Silverado Hospice, Laurel Anderson and Regina Smith for all their love and care in Ms. Juanita's last days.
