Juanita L. Langsdon, 97, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her home in Elizabeth. She was born November 27, 1925, in Elizabeth, the daughter of Dona R. and Esther Louella Bines Peaarson. She was a homemaker, and loved sewing, making beautiful quilts, and doing embroidery. Juanita loved to travel, but her family was the love of her life. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Langsdon, brother, Charles Pearson and sister, Darlene Brewer. She is survived by sons, Carl Melvin Langsdon and Alan D. Langsdon (Anita) all of Elizabeth, IN; daughters, Donna Rae Roberts of Floyds Knobs, IN and Gloria Jean Lewis (Bruce) of Elizabeth, IN; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 32 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, February 6, 2023, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Rev. Frank Pendleton will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Sunday, February 5, 2023, and from 9 AM until the service at 11 AM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN.
