Juanita Laucello nee Ferrer died on September 8, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 13, 1942 in New York, NY, the tenth of fifteen children.
Graduated from Julia Richman HS in NYC later studying to become a paralegal.
Beloved wife of Victor. Beloved mother to Diana and her husband, Angel Miguel and Daria Laucello. Beloved grandmother to Elise, Grace, Julia, Victoria and Caroline.
Juanita was a firecracker. She was smart, funny and had a wicked sense of humor. She made friends wherever she went. She was unforgettable.
She loved her granddaughters more than anything and her granddaughters adored her. Sleepovers were their favorite pastime full of bubble baths, popcorn and SNL, even though they were too young to watch. She was the life of the party and everyone was naturally drawn to her.
She will be missed tremendously, but live on in our hearts forever.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, 10:00 AM at St. Andrew's Church in Westwood, NJ. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY.
Funeral arrangements were trusted to Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home Inc - Pearl River, 34 North Summit St. Pearl River, NY 10965, (845) 735-4849. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Juanita, please visit our floral store.
